- Greening Group Global S.A. is a vertically integrated renewable energy company that designs, develops, finances, constructs, operates, and commercializes clean energy and energy efficiency solutions worldwide. Founded in 2011 as a university spin-off and headquartered in Granada, Spain, the company operates across Europe, North America, and Africa, serving industrial, commercial, agricultural, and utility-scale clients. The company structures its core activities across five primary business lines and specialized subsidiaries: Project Development and Independent Power Production (Greening Investments), which develops, finances, and operates utility-scale solar photovoltaic plants, onshore wind farms, battery energy storage systems (BESS), biomethane facilities, and structured long-term Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs); Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) and Distributed Generation (Greening-e and Greensol), which provides turnkey engineering and installation of industrial rooftop and ground-mounted self-consumption solar facilities, solar water pumping systems, agricultural irrigation modernizations via AEGRA, and solar structure manufacturing via Sun Support; Operation and Maintenance (Greensol O&M), which delivers 24/7 remote monitoring, preventive servicing, predictive analytics, corrective repairs, and asset optimization for renewable infrastructure; Energy Commercialization (Lidera Energía), which offers 100% renewable electricity supply, energy trading, demand-side management, and corporate decarbonization auditing; and Circular Economy (Greening Relive), which specializes in end-of-life photovoltaic module decommissioning, solar panel recycling, and raw material recovery. Geographically, the group maintains operational presence and development pipelines across Spain, the United States, Mexico, Italy, Germany, France, and Morocco. In recent corporate developments, the company changed its name from Grupo Greening 2022, S.A. to Greening Group Global S.A. following its listing on the BME Growth market. In line with its 2026–2030 Strategic Plan to expand as an integrated independent power producer, the company executed a public takeover offer (OPA) to acquire energy services and modular infrastructure provider Energy Solar Tech S.A., while acquiring a 45.4 MW ready-to-build solar portfolio from OX2 and a 7.95 MW project from Capital Energy in Spain. Internationally, Greening Group entered into a strategic joint venture with Atlantica Sustainable Infrastructure to co-develop a 1,000 MWac solar and storage pipeline in the United States, closed a 34.7 million euro financing agreement with Qualitas Energy for Spanish assets, and secured a 32 million euro Cesce-backed credit facility with Banco Santander for PPA projects in Mexico, complemented by portfolio rotation sales to Canadian Solar in Italy and Energía Real in Mexico.
