In late 2024, Sasken Technologies announced its intent to acquire Borqs' ODM and software services business, including BORQS International Holding Corp, with the transaction completing on April 8, 2025, to enhance Sasken's IoT, 5G, semiconductor, and connected device capabilities while allowing Borqs to pivot toward AI and blockchain software development through ongoing collaboration. These moves strengthen Borqs' focus on high-margin vertical IoT solutions and emerging technologies amid its global commercialization efforts.
