Anzen India Energy Yield Plus Trust is an India-based infrastructure investment trust (InvIT) focused on the acquisition, development, ownership, and operation of a diversified portfolio of revenue-generating energy infrastructure assets. The trust operates primarily within the power transmission and renewable energy generation sectors under long-term contractual frameworks, delivering predictable cash flows and distributions to unitholders through two main business segments: Power Transmission and Renewable Energy. The trust’s primary offerings and operational assets include: Power Transmission Infrastructure, comprising the operation and maintenance of inter-state power transmission lines and substations under long-term Transmission Service Agreements (TSAs) and the Point of Connection (PoC) billing mechanism, featuring key assets such as Darbhanga-Motihari Transmission Company Limited (DMTCL) spanning Bihar, NRSS XXXI (B) Transmission Limited (NRSS) serving Haryana and Punjab, and Kudgi Transmission Limited (KTL) in Karnataka; Solar Power Generation, involving the generation and wholesale supply of clean electricity via grid-connected photovoltaic plants backed by 25-year Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) with sovereign and quasi-sovereign counterparties including the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI), NTPC Limited, and NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam Limited (NVVN), featuring a 420 MWp operational solar project in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, and a 74% interest in a portfolio of 12 solar power projects aggregating approximately 824 MWp across Andhra Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Telangana, and Punjab; and Infrastructure Asset Management and Yield Distribution, providing steady income distribution under the Build-Own-Operate-Maintain (BOOM) model. In recent developments, the trust significantly scaled its operations by tripling its total assets under management through the landmark acquisition and integration of utility-scale renewable energy assets totaling over 1,200 MWp alongside the Kudgi transmission project. In May 2026, the trust completed a strategic sponsor transition, inducting Epic Green Urja Private Limited as its new sponsor while declassifying SEPL Energy Private Limited (formerly Sekura Energy Private Limited), which continues in its role as project manager. The trust also operates under the investment management of EAAA Real Assets Managers Limited (formerly Edelweiss Real Assets Managers Limited) following the broader rebranding of Edelweiss Alternatives to EAAA Alternatives. Established in 2021, registered with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) in 2022, and publicly traded on the National Stock Exchange of India and BSE Limited, Anzen India Energy Yield Plus Trust is headquartered in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
