It serves railways, wholesalers, distributors, government institutions, consumers, and allied companies primarily in India, with headquarters in Mumbai and incorporation in 1983. Formerly known as Cressanda Solutions Limited, the company changed its name to Cressanda Railway Solutions Limited in December 2023; it completed the acquisition of a 51% stake in Mastermind Advertising Pvt Ltd to bolster its OTT segment presence, entered into a share purchase agreement for a majority stake in SYN Developers for a West Bengal water supply project under the Jal Jeevan Mission, and formed a joint venture with Recall in West Bengal; it also issued rights shares in 2023 and received funding of INR 142.6 million in 2022.
