I G Petrochemicals Limited manufactures and sells organic chemicals, primarily serving the plastics, paints, coatings, and polyester resins industries in India and internationally. Founded in 1988 and headquartered in Mumbai, India, with manufacturing facilities at MIDC Taloja in Raigad District, Maharashtra, the company operates as India's largest PAN producer with over 50% domestic market share and approximately 500 employees. Recent developments include the appointment of Shri Sanjoy Datta as Non-Executive Independent Director for five years in November 2025, extension of its new plasticizer plant completion to March 2026 to enter downstream PAN products, and approval of up to Rs 100 crore investment in its wholly-owned subsidiary IG Biofuels Limited for developing compressed biogas production plants, potentially with joint venture partners, announced in November 2025.
