Maple Infrastructure Trust is an India-based infrastructure investment trust (InvIT) engaged in the acquisition, development, operation, and maintenance of road and highway infrastructure concessions across India. The trust operates primarily within the infrastructure and transportation sectors, investing in long-term, revenue-generating road concessions governed by concession agreements with the National Highways Authority of India and state road authorities. Maple Infrastructure Trust manages its operational assets through dedicated special purpose vehicles and provides core infrastructure services including toll road operations; automated and electronic toll collection via the FASTag network; routine and periodic highway maintenance; pavement management and road surface rehabilitation; traffic monitoring and route incident management; intelligent transportation system deployment; and concession asset lifecycle management under Build-Operate-Transfer and Toll-Operate-Transfer models. Its operational highway portfolio covers more than 3,328 lane kilometers across seven Indian states, encompassing strategic national transit corridors along the Golden Quadrilateral, the East-West Corridor, and the Eastern Peripheral Expressway. Registered with the Securities and Exchange Board of India in 2020 as an irrevocable trust under the Indian Trusts Act, 1882, the trust is headquartered in New Delhi, India, with operational offices in Mumbai, Maharashtra, and was originally established as the Indian Highway Concessions Trust under the sponsorship of Maple Highways Pte. Ltd., an affiliate of Canadian pension investment manager CDPQ. In recent corporate developments, the trust formally changed its name from Indian Highway Concessions Trust to Maple Infrastructure Trust in November 2024. In late 2025, the trust executed a major asset expansion by completing the acquisition of five operational road concession projects from Ashoka Concessions Limited, expanding its nationwide operational network. Additionally, in September 2026, Macquarie Asset Management finalized the acquisition of unit holdings and ownership interests in the trust from CDPQ, marking a pivotal transition in the platform's institutional ownership structure.
