Business
Popular Foundations Limited is an India-based engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) and infrastructure development company engaged in delivering end-to-end civil construction solutions across industrial, commercial, and institutional sectors. Founded in 1998 and headquartered in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, the company provides a comprehensive suite of construction and civil engineering services, including the design, engineering, and turnkey construction of industrial manufacturing facilities, factories, warehouses, and logistics parks; development of institutional and educational complexes, such as universities, colleges, schools, and research centers; construction of commercial office spaces, retail establishments, and healthcare infrastructure; execution of residential housing complexes and gated community developments; foundation engineering, piling, heavy structural fabrication, and pre-engineered building (PEB) solutions; and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) integration, interior architectural fit-outs, and building renovation and retrofitting services. Popular Foundations primarily serves industrial corporations, educational trusts, healthcare providers, and real estate developers across Southern India, maintaining extensive operational footprints in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, and Puducherry. In recent strategic developments, the company completed its initial public offering (IPO) on the BSE SME platform in September 2024, raising equity capital through a fresh issue of shares to augment its working capital base, invest in high-capacity construction machinery and advanced scaffolding systems, and support its expansion into large-scale turnkey infrastructure contracts. Following the public listing, Popular Foundations has scaled its engineering capabilities, expanded its regional project order book across manufacturing and institutional sectors, and implemented modernized project lifecycle management frameworks to enhance operational execution and delivery efficiency.
