Business
Sharda Ispat Limited manufactures and supplies alloy, carbon and spring steel rolled products including flats, rounds, round cornered squares, and square bars primarily for automobile OEM component manufacturers, forging and bright bar industries in India. The company operates a fully automated production facility with an annual capacity of 60,000 metric tons, certified under ISO 9001:2008 by TUV SUD, and serves approved vendors of major OEMs such as Tata Motors, Ashok Leyland, Mahindra & Mahindra, Eicher Motors, Force Motors and All India State Road Transport Undertakings. Incorporated in 1960 and headquartered in Nagpur, India, formerly known as Sharda Industries & Engineering Works Pvt Ltd until its name change in October 1989, Sharda Ispat maintains strategic related party transactions including material contracts with Shardashree Ispat Limited up to Rs 4,000 lakhs and Kyoto Merchandise Private Limited up to Rs 5,000 lakhs across FY 2023-24 to FY 2025-26; it recently appointed four new independent directors in August 2024 including Prakash Soni, Mukund Mohta and Govind Mantri for five-year terms, ratified cost auditor remuneration for FY 2024-25, and approved remuneration revisions for Chairman Nandkishore Sarda and Whole-time Director Poonam Sarda effective April 2025.
