Founded in 1994 as Kansal Fibres Limited, the company is headquartered in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. In recent corporate developments, the company executed a comprehensive corporate rebranding, changing its name from Tine Agro Limited to Spright Agro Limited in March 2024 to align its corporate identity with its agribusiness focus. In July 2024, the company completed an equity rights issue to fund working capital requirements and agricultural supply chain expansion. Operationally, Spright Agro has expanded its market footprint through significant commercial supply contracts, including large-scale annual oilseed procurement and distribution agreements, the expansion of contracted farm acreage, and strategic board approvals for capital restructuring and increased investment into agritech capabilities.
