- Momina Krepost AD is a Bulgaria-based manufacturing company primarily engaged in the development, production, and distribution of single-use disposable medical devices and plastic industrial consumables. Founded in 1991 and headquartered in Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria, the company operates within the healthcare supplies and plastic molding industries, serving hospitals, outpatient clinics, healthcare institutions, pharmaceutical distributors, and industrial commercial clients across Bulgaria and international markets. Momina Krepost AD organizes its core operations into two principal business segments: Medical Devices and Industrial and Household Plastics. The Medical Devices segment manufactures and supplies a comprehensive portfolio of sterile single-use healthcare products, including injection and infusion equipment such as standard two-piece and three-piece hypodermic syringes, insulin syringes, tuberculin syringes, perfusion syringes, hypodermic needles, intravenous infusion and transfusion sets, and extension lines; surgical consumables comprising sterile surgical drapes, operative gowns, surgical covers, and surgical sheets; urological devices including urinary catheters, Foley catheters, and urine collection drainage bags; intensive care, respiratory, and anesthesia disposables such as suction catheters, endotracheal tubes, oxygen masks, nasal cannulas, and feeding tubes; and medical diagnostic plastics including specula, collection vessels, and laboratory test tubes. The Industrial and Household Plastics segment utilizes automated injection molding and blow molding technologies to produce technical plastic components, packaging containers, industrial canisters, storage bottles, closures, and diverse consumer household articles, as well as customized contract manufacturing solutions engineered according to third-party specifications. The company operates in close strategic alignment with Bulgarian pharmaceutical group Sopharma AD, which serves as a major stakeholder and strategic commercial partner. In recent corporate developments, Momina Krepost AD executed substantial capital restructuring programs to strengthen its balance sheet and fund manufacturing modernizations, successfully completing a share capital increase to 4.23 million BGN through the issuance of new ordinary voting shares, followed by an equity expansion through the issuance and exercise of warrants raising approximately 2.56 million BGN in additional proceeds to support operational modernization and production capacity enhancements.
