- Corporacion Cervesur SAA is a Peru-based diversified investment holding company engaged in the management, development, and strategic operation of businesses across the textile, logistics and transportation, agribusiness, processed food, real estate, and financial investment sectors. Tracing its origins to 1898 as a regional brewing enterprise headquartered in Arequipa, Peru, the company transitioned into a multi-sector holding corporation following the divestment of its brewing assets in 2000. Corporacion Cervesur SAA operates primarily through controlling equity stakes in specialized operating subsidiaries, providing centralized executive leadership, corporate governance, strategic advisory, and capital allocation services to its business portfolio across domestic and international markets.
The company operates across four primary business segments: Textile and Apparel, Transportation and Logistics, Agribusiness and Food Processing, and Real Estate and Asset Management. Through its flagship textile subsidiary Creditex SAA and its affiliate Texgroup, the company provides vertically integrated textile manufacturing solutions; cotton ginning; combed and carded fine yarns made from Peruvian Pima and Tangüis cotton; premium woven and knitted fabrics; full-package garment design, manufacturing, and finishing services for global luxury and fashion brands; and proprietary menswear retail under the Norman & Taylor brand. Through its logistics subsidiary Transaltisa SA, the company offers specialized heavy terrestrial freight transport; dangerous goods and hazardous materials (MATPEL) transportation for large-scale mining and chemical operations; supply chain management; and industrial warehousing and storage logistics. Through its agribusiness and food arms, Procesos Agroindustriales SA (Proagro) and Alimentos Procesados SA (Alprosa), the company engages in the cultivation, packing, and international export of fresh produce including table grapes, blueberries, asparagus, pomegranates, and pecans; as well as the manufacturing and commercialization of processed food products. Through its real estate units, including Futuro Invest and Futuro Inmobiliario Camacho, the company manages commercial and residential property assets, urban land developments, and financial investment portfolios.
In recent operational and corporate developments, Corporacion Cervesur SAA and its operating subsidiaries have prioritized technological modernization, industrial sustainability, and strategic capital redeployment. Creditex completed multi-million-sol investment programs directed toward industrial modernization, including the implementation of Smart Factory automation systems, high-efficiency Open End spinning machinery, fiber contamination detection equipment, advanced steam boiler systems, and a newly constructed industrial effluent treatment and water recovery plant. In addition, the holding approved strategic capital allocations across subsidiaries, including an S/ 11 million capital injection into garment manufacturer Texgroup to expand finished apparel production capacity. Corporacion Cervesur SAA also approved cash dividend distributions from accumulated retained earnings, ratified external auditing appointments with Tanaka, Valdivia & Asociados, and continued the expansion of Transaltisa's specialized logistics fleet and warehousing infrastructure to support high-demand mining corridors across Southern Peru.
