- Tawasol Group Holding SA is a Tunisia-based diversified industrial holding company engaged in telecommunications infrastructure, civil and energy engineering, industrial manufacturing, and real estate development. The company operates across four primary business divisions: Telecommunications, Infrastructure, Industry, and Real Estate. Through its Telecommunications division, anchored primarily by Hayatcom, the company provides turnkey engineering, deployment, and maintenance of critical digital networks; construction and civil engineering of wireless GSM and mobile telecommunications towers; installation, splicing, and testing of fiber-optic network infrastructure; and managed network services for telecom operators. Through its Infrastructure division, operating via Retel and Retel Services, the company provides engineering, procurement, and construction management (EPCM) services for large-scale public utilities and industrial infrastructure, comprising the engineering and construction of natural gas transmission pipelines and distribution networks; water conveyance pipelines, urban sanitation infrastructure, and hydraulic engineering works; general civil engineering; and the manufacturing and distribution of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) tubes and pipes utilized for fluid transport, gas distribution, and telecommunications cabling duct systems. Through its Industry division, operating through Unité de Traitement des Surfaces (UTS-Palma), the company manufactures and finishes extruded aluminum profiles, structural architectural joinery systems, and surface-treated aluminum products for the construction and industrial sectors. Through its Real Estate division, operating under the Jnaynet brand, the company engages in urban planning, land development, residential construction, and the development of integrated eco-neighborhoods and residential housing complexes. Founded in 2012 by the Chabchoub family and headquartered in Ariana, Tunisia, the group serves public utilities, telecommunications network operators, industrial enterprises, and residential clients across Tunisia and Sub-Saharan African markets including Benin, Burkina Faso, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. In recent corporate and operational developments, Tawasol Group Holding has implemented a strategic restructuring of its asset portfolio, including advancing the spin-out and financial autonomy of its telecommunications subsidiary Hayatcom to accelerate international market penetration. In addition, following the passing of founder Mohamed Chabchoub, the group completed key governance transitions under Chairman Ahmed Chabchoub, while concentrating operational resources on executing regional pipeline contracts, scaling hydraulic and civil engineering operations in West Africa, and optimizing industrial extrusion capacity at UTS-Palma to adapt to shifting market demand.
