Founded in 1975 and headquartered in Stein am Rhein, Switzerland, the company maintains production sites and development centers in Germany, Hungary, Tunisia, India, and China, with a presence across all six economically relevant continents and approximately 7,000 employees generating sales of EUR 779.5 million in 2024. In recent developments, Phoenix Mecano completed relocation of production to its new industrial complex in Jiaxing, China, in late 2022; converted its bearer shares to registered shares (ticker PMN.SW) following a 2023 shareholder decision; and continues its share buy-back program launched in November 2023, while reporting a solid 2024 performance and successful start to 2025 amid economic recovery signs in Europe.
