JPMorgan BetaBuilders Canada Fund is an open-end exchange-traded fund managed by J.P. Morgan Investment Management Inc., a principal asset management subsidiary of JPMorgan Chase & Co. Incepted in 2018 and headquartered in New York, New York, the fund seeks to provide investment results that closely correspond, before fees and expenses, to the price and yield performance of the Morningstar Canada Target Market Exposure Index. The fund primarily offers passively managed equity investment solutions targeting large- and mid-capitalization securities publicly traded on the Toronto Stock Exchange; systematic full-replication and representative sampling portfolio strategies allocating at least eighty percent of total assets to underlying benchmark constituents; diversified sector exposure spanning financial institutions, energy infrastructure, industrials, materials, information technology, consumer discretionary, consumer staples, and utilities; institutional and retail liquidity management; and cross-border investor access through Argentine Depositary Certificates (CEDEARs) traded under the ticker BBCAD on Bolsas y Mercados Argentinos (BYMA) with settlement capabilities in Argentine Pesos and United States Dollars. In recent operational developments over the last two years, the fund expanded its international footprint through enhanced secondary market liquidity and broadened participation within the BYMA CEDEAR framework, supporting Latin American retail and institutional demand for diversified North American assets. Concurrently, J.P. Morgan Asset Management implemented continuous index rebalancing optimizations to adjust for corporate reorganizations and capitalization shifts across core Canadian equity constituents, while expanding its broader BetaBuilders ETF platform to capture sustained inflows into cost-effective single-country index strategies.
