Business
Mirgor S.A.C.I.F.I.A. (Mirgor SA) is an Argentina-based diversified industrial, technology, and commercial group engaged primarily in the manufacturing of consumer electronics and automotive components, omnichannel retail, supply chain logistics, and agricultural commodity production and trading. Founded in 1983 and headquartered in Buenos Aires, Argentina, the company operates across five core business segments: Manufacturing, Retail, Logistics and Distribution, Agriculture, and Services. In its Manufacturing division, the company produces and integrates a comprehensive portfolio of consumer electronic devices and automotive systems, including smartphones, smartwatches, tablets, notebooks, and smart televisions, manufactured under strategic partnership with Samsung Electronics; automotive air conditioning and thermal management systems; heat exchangers; automotive electronic modules, digital infotainment consoles, and electronic control units; and customized interior and exterior plastic assemblies for leading global automotive manufacturers including Toyota, Ford, General Motors, Stellantis, Mercedes-Benz, and Volkswagen. Through its Retail, Logistics, and Services units, Mirgor operates a nationwide omnichannel retail network encompassing official Samsung retail stores and its proprietary consumer electronics store chain, Diggit; offers end-to-end fourth-party logistics (4PL), warehousing, freight management, and nationwide fulfillment services; and provides certified technical support, after-sales device servicing, and lifecycle maintenance. In its Agriculture segment, the company engages in the farming, sourcing, processing, and export of agricultural commodities, including soybeans, corn, wheat, sunflower seeds, peas, and other specialty pulses. The company operates through several operating subsidiaries, including Industria Austral de Tecnología S.A. (IATEC), Interclima S.A., Famar Fueguina S.A., GMRA S.A., and Mirgor USA LLC, with primary production facilities in Río Grande (Tierra del Fuego), Garín, and Baradero (Buenos Aires Province), and international commercial and operational footholds in Uruguay, Paraguay, and the United States. In recent strategic developments, Mirgor has accelerated its geographic expansion, industrial capacity, and infrastructure investments. The company expanded its distribution and commercialization platform with the acquisition of Powercase Argentina and strengthened its aftermarket and technical servicing operations across the Southern Cone with expanded presence in Uruguay and Paraguay. Mirgor has also advanced the operational readiness of its ONTEC automotive component plant in Baradero to deliver advanced electronic and engineered plastic components for automotive OEMs. To fund strategic expansion programs, Mirgor issued 300 million USD in negotiable obligations, directing capital toward the development of a planned 380 million USD industrial and logistics port terminal in Río Grande, Tierra del Fuego, intended to optimize logistics flows for local manufacturing and maritime transport, while continuing to scale its agricultural processing and export operations for international markets.
