Captivision Inc. (Nasdaq: CAPT) develops and manufactures precision optical components and modules for advanced laser systems and imaging applications. The company offers a range of products including freeform optics, diffractive optics, beam shapers, and custom optical assemblies; mid-infrared lenses and windows; and engineered optical surfaces for high-power laser delivery, beam control, and projection systems. These solutions serve industries such as industrial lasers, medical devices, aerospace, defense, and semiconductor manufacturing, with operations primarily focused in the United States and Asia. Founded in 2021 and headquartered in Richmond, California, Captivision operates through its principal manufacturing facility in Zhuhai, China. In late 2024, the company completed its initial public offering on Nasdaq, raising approximately $34 million to support production expansion and new product development; it also announced strategic partnerships with leading laser system integrators to accelerate adoption of its freeform optics in next-generation directed energy applications.
