Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBAUF) operates as Australia's largest integrated financial services provider, offering retail, business, institutional banking, superannuation, and insurance products through its Retail Banking Services, Business Banking, Institutional Banking and Markets, and New Zealand segments. The company provides savings and term deposit accounts, commonwealth direct investment accounts, retail transaction accounts, specialized accounts including statutory trust, society cheque, farm management, cash and treasury management, and business foreign currency deposit accounts; credit cards, personal and business loans, car and equipment finance, business overdrafts, margin lending, international payment services, and buy-now-pay-later services; home loans; and home and contents, car, health, life, income protection, pet, and travel insurance products. CBA maintains a significant presence in Australia and New Zealand via its ASB subsidiary, with additional operations across Asia, Europe, and North America serving Australian clients, regional businesses, and institutional customers. Founded in 1911 and headquartered in Sydney, Australia, CBA serves approximately 15.9 million customers with 48,900 employees and supports over 800,000 shareholders through a network of branches and digital platforms.
