Kaizen Discovery Inc. is a Canadian mineral exploration and development company focused on acquiring, exploring, and developing properties for copper, gold, and other metals and minerals. The company holds interests in projects such as the 100%-owned Pinaya Copper-Gold Project covering 101 square kilometers in Peru's Andahuaylas-Yauri Porphyry-Skarn Belt; it previously held the Coppermine Project in Nunavut, Canada, the Aspen Grove and Tanzilla Projects in British Columbia, Canada. Kaizen operates in South America and Canada, targeting porphyry copper-gold deposits and related mineral systems for junior mining investors and strategic partners. Founded in late 2013 through the combination of Concordia Resource Corp. and assets from High Power Exploration Inc.'s subsidiary HPX TechCo Inc., Kaizen maintains headquarters in Vancouver, British Columbia. In February 2024, Ivanhoe Electric Inc. completed the acquisition of all outstanding common shares of Kaizen not already owned, taking the company private under a plan of arrangement; prior to this, Kaizen sold the Coppermine Project to Durango Gold Corp. in late 2023, the Aspen Grove and Tanzilla Projects to Pinwheel Resources Ltd. in November 2023, secured a C$2 million short-term loan from Ivanhoe Electric in June 2023, and conducted geophysical surveys at Pinaya in 2022. Kaizen now operates as a subsidiary within Ivanhoe Electric's portfolio.
