Business
Comcast Holdings Corp. (CCZ) operates as a subsidiary of Comcast Corporation and manages and operates broadband cable networks primarily in the United States. The company delivers video services including cable networks, pay-per-view programming, digital cable, video-on-demand, high-definition television, and digital video recorder services; Internet services comprising multiple email addresses, online storage, and value-added features; and phone services such as traditional circuit-switched local phone service, associated calling features, and third-party long-distance services, along with installation services, third-party electronic retailing, Internet connectivity, and networked business applications. Incorporated in 1969 and headquartered in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, it was formerly known as Comcast Corporation prior to changing its name in November 2002. In recent developments, Comcast Business, aligned with Comcast Holdings' operations, acquired Nitel, a U.S. managed services provider, in December 2024 to expand enterprise capabilities in connectivity, global secure networking, advanced technology, cloud, and cybersecurity solutions; additionally, Comcast entered a strategic wireless partnership with Charter and T-Mobile in July 2025 to leverage T-Mobile's 5G network for business customers, and its board approved the separation of cable networks including USA Network, CNBC, and MSNBC into a new entity named Versant in December 2025, with the tax-free spin-off to shareholders anticipated in 2026. These initiatives reflect ongoing expansions in managed services, wireless offerings, and portfolio restructuring within the telecommunications and media sectors, serving residential, small-to-medium business, and enterprise customers across 40 states and the District of Columbia.
