Business
Condor Hospitality Trust, Inc. (CDOR) previously operated as a self-managed real estate investment trust, focusing its efforts on the investment and ownership of premium-branded, select-service, extended-stay, and limited-service hotels. This former hospitality-focused REIT held a portfolio of upper midscale and upscale properties situated strategically within top metropolitan statistical areas, with particular emphasis on markets ranked between 20 and 60. Prior to its strategic shift, the company's collection encompassed 15 hotels spread across eight states. These properties were associated with some of the industry's most reputable brand families, including Marriott, Hilton, and InterContinental Hotels. In late 2021, the company announced and subsequently completed the sale of its entire hotel portfolio to affiliates of Blackstone Inc. for $305 million. Following this transaction, shareholders approved a plan for liquidation and dissolution. Condor Hospitality Trust, Inc. concluded its winding-up procedures in 2022, having distributed liquidation dividends and filed its articles of dissolution. The company has since ceased its reporting obligations and is no longer an actively trading entity on the NYSE American stock exchange.
