Business
Cembra Money Bank AG operates as a prominent provider of consumer finance offerings and associated services throughout Switzerland. The bank delivers a comprehensive array of financial solutions, encompassing personal loans, alongside vehicle financing and leasing arrangements for both new and pre-owned automobiles, light commercial vehicles, and recreational vehicles. Furthermore, it manages a leading credit card portfolio, including proprietary card families and partner-branded options, which support various mobile payment methods. Cembra’s product suite extends to include flexible payment options such as invoice financing through its CembraPay unit, which integrates services like buy now, pay later features, notably through the TWINT application. Customers also benefit from diverse insurance products providing financial protection against involuntary unemployment, accidents, illness, or disability, as well as travel and card protection policies. Additionally, the institution offers attractive savings and deposit accounts to a broad clientele. Serving private individuals, self-employed professionals, and small to medium-sized enterprises across Switzerland, Cembra facilitates its extensive services through its own network of branches, sophisticated online channels, alliances with credit card partners, independent intermediaries, and a substantial network of car dealerships. The company has been advancing its strategic transformation, dubbed "Reimagine Cembra," since late 2021, focusing on enhancing digital customer experiences and operational efficiency. Recent efforts include the appointment of a Chief Customer & Growth Officer to bolster innovation and digital capabilities. With roots tracing back to 1912, Cembra Money Bank AG has been listed as an independent Swiss bank on the SIX Swiss Exchange since its initial public offering in November 2013, maintaining its headquarters in Zurich.
