Centerspace (NYSE: CSR; CSR-PC) is a real estate investment trust focused on the ownership, management, acquisition, redevelopment, and development of apartment communities primarily in the Midwest and Mountain West regions of the United States; its core offerings include middle-income multifamily residential rentals with amenities such as fitness centers, swimming pools, clubhouses, and outdoor recreational areas; the company targets middle-income renters in key markets including Minneapolis, Denver, Omaha, and Salt Lake City. Founded in 1970 and headquartered in Minot, North Dakota, Centerspace operates approximately 68 apartment communities comprising 12,941 apartment homes across Colorado, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Utah as of late 2025. The company generates revenue mainly from rental income (approximately 96% of total), supplemented by resident fees and other property-related services; it maintains high occupancy rates, averaging around 94.6% in recent periods, through professional on-site management and resident-focused initiatives.
