Citizens Bancorp operates as the bank holding company for Citizens Bank, providing a comprehensive range of retail and commercial banking products and services. Its core offerings include commercial and consumer deposit accounts such as demand and time deposits; real estate, commercial, and consumer loans; mortgage lending; and small to medium-sized business banking solutions. The company also delivers treasury management, wealth management, investment advisory, and capital markets services including syndicated loans, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions advisory, and debt and equity capital markets capabilities. Additionally, Citizens Bancorp offers point-of-sale financing, digital deposit products, commercial real estate financing, and various treasury solutions designed to meet domestic and international client needs. Citizens Bancorp operates primarily across 14 states in the United States, with a footprint that includes branches, ATMs, and wealth centers serving a broad range of clientele including individuals, small to medium-sized businesses, and corporate clients. The company was founded in the mid-20th century and is headquartered in Missouri. Its subsidiary, Citizens Bank, is fully integrated within its operations. In recent years, the company has executed significant strategic expansions and operational changes. Notably, in 2022, Citizens Bancorp merged with Texas National Bank to broaden their presence in East Texas, enhancing their combined assets to over $1 billion. Additionally, in 2025, Southern Missouri Bancorp announced plans to acquire Citizens Bancorp, intending to expand operations across Missouri, Arkansas, Illinois, and Kansas, which will significantly increase the combined company's asset base and branch network. These recent strategic moves illustrate Citizens Bancorp's intent to expand its regional banking footprint and strengthen its product offerings for its diverse client base. The company continues to focus on enhancing its service capabilities, including digital banking innovations and comprehensive financial solutions tailored to business and personal banking needs within its geographic areas of operation. This positions Citizens Bancorp as a growing regional banking institution with a robust portfolio of banking and financial services supported by ongoing mergers, acquisitions, and operational enhancements.
