- EA Series Trust—Dakota Active Equity ETF is a non-diversified, actively managed exchange-traded fund that seeks capital appreciation through a portfolio of U.S. equity securities and, as applicable, exchange-traded funds providing exposure to U.S. equities. Trading on The Nasdaq Stock Market under the ticker DAK, the Fund normally invests at least 80% of net assets, plus borrowings for investment purposes, in equity securities of U.S. companies or underlying ETFs with U.S. equity exposure. Its investment universe may include common stocks; preferred and convertible preferred stocks; convertible bonds; warrants; shares of other investment companies; depositary receipts, including ADRs, EDRs and GDRs; cash and money-market instruments; U.S. government securities; repurchase agreements; and securities lending arrangements. The Fund uses a research-driven stock-selection process that combines qualitative judgment, systematic fundamental analysis and quantitative analysis to identify companies in dynamic sectors and industries with perceived growth potential. Shares are issued and redeemed at net asset value in Creation Units and generally trade in the secondary market at market prices that may differ from net asset value. The Fund is a series of EA Series Trust, a Delaware statutory trust formed in 2013 and formerly known as Alpha Architect ETF Trust. Empowered Funds, LLC, doing business as EA Advisers/ETF Architect and based in Havertown, Pennsylvania, serves as investment adviser; Dakota Wealth, LLC, doing business as Dakota Wealth Management and headquartered in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, serves as sub-adviser; and Quasar Distributors, LLC serves as distributor. Dakota Wealth Management introduced the Dakota Active Equity ETF in July 2025, expanding its portfolio-management strategy into an ETF format and providing investors with access to the firm’s actively managed equity approach through an exchange-traded vehicle.
