Business
Sinobangla Industries Limited is a Bangladesh-based manufacturer and exporter of flexible intermediate bulk containers (FIBC) and woven polypropylene (WPP) industrial packaging solutions. Founded in 1996 as a joint venture between Bangladeshi and Chinese partners, the company is headquartered in Dhaka, Bangladesh, with vertically integrated manufacturing facilities situated in Gazaria, Munshiganj. The company is publicly traded on the Dhaka Stock Exchange and the Chittagong Stock Exchange under the ticker SINOBANGLA. The company operates through industrial packaging segments catering to domestic and global bulk transportation needs across the agriculture, chemical, fertilizer, construction, pharmaceutical, mining, and food processing sectors. Its comprehensive product portfolio comprises flexible intermediate bulk containers, including circular tubular bags, U-panel bags, baffle bags (form-stable Q-bags), cross-corner and corner-loop bags, Type C conductive bags for electrostatic dissipation, UN-certified packaging for hazardous materials, and certified food- and pharma-grade clean bags; woven polypropylene sacks, including coated and uncoated WPP bags, gusseted sacks, valve bags, and flexographic-printed industrial sacks; protective bulk container liners and multi-layer film inserts made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE), low-density polyethylene (LDPE), and aluminum barrier foils; auxiliary packaging components, including polypropylene webbing, lifting loops, sewing thread, and filler cords; and multiply kraft paper bags. In addition to primary manufacturing, Sinobangla Industries provides integrated packaging customization, polymer tape extrusion, fabric weaving, extrusion lamination, multi-color printing, cleanroom sewing, and rigorous quality testing compliant with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and FSSC 22000 standards. The company maintains an extensive global export footprint spanning North America, Europe, and Asia, serving customers in markets such as the United States, Canada, Japan, Germany, France, the United Kingdom, Spain, Italy, and Switzerland. In recent developments, Sinobangla Industries has undertaken extensive Balancing, Modernisation, Rehabilitation, and Expansion (BMRE) programs to increase fabric production output and improve operational efficiency. The company strengthened its balance sheet and funded capital machinery investments through a rights share issue approved by the Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission. To support its sustainable manufacturing initiatives and optimize raw material utilization, the company procured advanced industrial plastic recycling machinery from Changzhou Dyun Environmental Technology Co. Ltd. alongside high-capacity weaving looms, supported by the construction of a new 7,100-square-foot steel structure facility at its Gazaria plant to accommodate the expanded processing lines.
