In recent strategic developments, Descartes completed the acquisition of 3GTMS in March 2025 for approximately US$115 million to enhance its transportation management solutions with advanced cloud-based planning, rating, consolidation, and routing for truckload, less-than-truckload, and parcel shipments, expanding its North American carrier network; acquired Sellercloud in October 2024 for US$110 million upfront plus up to US$20 million in performance-based earn-outs to bolster ecommerce inventory and order management for multi-channel retailers, distributors, wholesalers, and manufacturers processing over 150 million orders annually; acquired MyCarrierPortal in September 2024 for US$24 million upfront plus up to US$6 million in potential earn-outs to strengthen carrier onboarding, risk monitoring, and fraud prevention integrated with MacroPoint FraudGuard; acquired Aerospace Software Developments in April 2024 for approximately €57 million to advance customs declaration software capabilities; and pursued additional 2024 deals including BoxTop Technologies and others to broaden shipment management and ecommerce logistics offerings.
