(NYSE American: ECF; NYSE: ECF-PA) is a diversified, closed-end management investment company that seeks to provide income and the potential for capital appreciation, which the Fund considers to be relatively equal over the long term due to the nature of the securities in which it invests. The Fund targets undervalued, dividend-paying stocks with superior yield and capital gains potential, benchmarks its performance against the ICE BofA U.S. Convertibles Index, Bloomberg Balanced U.S. Convertibles Index, and S&P 500 Index, and employs a team of over 30 sector-focused analysts led by Portfolio Manager James Dinsmore, CFA. With total net assets of approximately $186 million and a net expense ratio of 1.10%, the Fund trades on the NYSE American and issues preferred shares such as the 5.25% Cumulative Preferred Shares Series A (ECF-PA).
