Business
Beltone Holding S.A.E. is an Egypt-based financial services provider operating across investment banking, asset management, securities brokerage, non-banking financial services, and venture investments. Founded in 2006 and headquartered in Cairo, Egypt, the company serves institutional investors, corporations, small and medium-sized enterprises, high-net-worth individuals, and retail consumers across the Middle East, North Africa, Europe, and frontier markets. The company conducts its business through two principal operating segments: Investment Banking and Non-Banking Financial Institutions (NBFIs). Its Investment Banking division offers corporate finance advisory, including mergers and acquisitions advisory, equity and debt capital markets underwriting, initial public offerings, and corporate restructuring; securities brokerage services encompassing multi-asset execution, margin trading, algorithmic trading, and international market access; independent equity, macroeconomic, and fixed-income research; and asset management solutions, including mutual funds, money market funds, fixed-income portfolios, Shariah-compliant funds, and tailored discretionary wealth management. Its Non-Banking Financial Institutions division provides corporate leasing and capital asset financing through Beltone Leasing; supply chain and receivables financing through Beltone Factoring; residential and commercial mortgage solutions through Beltone Mortgage Finance; consumer finance, buy-now-pay-later, and installment financing solutions through its dedicated consumer brand seven; microfinance and SME working capital loans; and early-stage equity funding and venture lending via Beltone Venture Capital. In recent strategic developments, Beltone Holding underwent a major corporate turnaround and transformation following the acquisition of a controlling majority stake by Abu Dhabi-based Chimera Investment LLC, executing a historic EGP 10 billion rights issue and capital increase to aggressively expand its balance sheet and product suite. As part of this expansion, the group rebranded from Beltone Financial Holding to Beltone Holding, launched new digital lending and SME financing verticals, established cross-border operations in the United Arab Emirates and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and entered strategic partnerships to launch private credit funds, fintech acceleration initiatives, and data-driven financial technology platforms across the MENA region and Sub-Saharan Africa.
