Business
Cairo For Investment And Real Estate Developments S.A.E. (CIRA Education) is an Egypt-based private education and social infrastructure services provider specializing in the development, ownership, and operation of K-12 schools, higher education institutions, and vocational training facilities. Founded in 1992 and headquartered in Cairo, Egypt, the company serves student populations across Greater Cairo, Alexandria, the Nile Delta, the Red Sea, and Upper Egypt through two primary operating segments: K-12 Education and Higher Education. The company's core products and service offerings encompass K-12 educational schooling across multiple international and national curricula, operating under brand platforms such as Futures Language Schools, British Columbia Canadian International School (BCCIS), Regent British School, Saxony International School (SIS), and Mavericks International Schools; undergraduate, postgraduate, and professional degree programs delivered via Badr University in Cairo (BUC) and Badr University in Assiut (BUA) spanning faculties of medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, nursing, physical therapy, engineering, applied arts, business, and humanities; vocational and applied technical education through partnerships such as the Saxony Egypt University for Applied Sciences and Technology; student support and campus services, including specialized student transportation, boarding and hostel accommodations, and catering services; educational content, publishing, and digital learning solutions; teacher continuous professional development and training academies; and educational real estate development, campus design, and facility management. In recent developments, CIRA Education has rebranded from its legacy corporate identity to CIRA Education to reflect its pure-play integrated educational platform strategy; established strategic joint ventures with the Sovereign Fund of Egypt to develop greenfield schools in high-demand governorates; expanded its tertiary footprint with the operational launch and ongoing faculty additions at Badr University in Assiut; entered into international academic collaborations with European institutions to expand applied technological and vocational degrees; secured growth capital through debt securitization programs and Islamic sukuk issuances to fund long-term campus expansions; and initiated strategic feasibility initiatives for regional footprint expansion into the broader Middle East and North Africa market, including Saudi Arabia.
