Business
Remco for Touristic Villages Construction S.A.E. is an Egypt-based real estate development and hospitality management company engaged in the acquisition, planning, construction, marketing, and operation of integrated resort communities, residential compounds, hotels, and leisure facilities. Founded in 1995 and headquartered in Cairo, Egypt, the company operates across key coastal and metropolitan destinations, including Ain Sokhna on the Gulf of Suez, Makadi Bay in Hurghada, Sharm El Sheikh on the Red Sea Riviera, the Mediterranean North Coast, Greater Cairo, and the New Administrative Capital. Remco executes its business activities across four primary operating divisions: Hospitality and Tourism Operations, Residential Real Estate Development, Commercial and Retail Property Management, and Construction and Facility Support Services. The company conducts its diversified operations directly and through major operating subsidiaries, including Egyptian Tourism and Hotels Company, Orient Tours Hotels and Tourism Villages, Remco Real Estate Construction, Empain Tourism Investments, and Pharaonic Trading and Contracting Company. The company's core product and service portfolio comprises: residential and vacation real estate development, encompassing standalone luxury villas, twin houses, townhouses, chalets, and multi-family residential apartments marketed under its signature Stella brand; hotel and lodging operations, providing four-star and five-star full-service resort accommodations, beachfront suites, international food and beverage outlets, event catering, and conference facilities across flagship properties such as Stella Di Mare Grand Hotel, Stella Di Mare Sea Club, Stella Di Mare Golf and Country Club in Ain Sokhna, Stella Di Mare Sharm El Sheikh, and Stella Makadi Resort and Spa in Hurghada; leisure and sports amenities, including 18-hole championship golf courses, thalassotherapy spas, private marinas, certified diving centers, swimming pool complexes, and aqua parks; commercial property leasing, featuring retail arcades, dining plazas, and community service centers integrated within its master developments; and estate management and infrastructure services, delivering comprehensive property maintenance, security, landscaping, utility distribution, and post-delivery homeowner services across residential communities such as Stella Heliopolis, Stella New Cairo, Stella Heights, and Stella Marina. In recent developments, Remco for Touristic Villages Construction has undertaken strategic operational and financial initiatives to improve liquidity, manage leverage, and sustain delivery timelines across its project pipeline. The company has advanced the phased construction and delivery milestones of its flagship mixed-use project, Stella Park, situated in the New Administrative Capital, expanding its urban mixed-use residential and commercial portfolio. To address capital structure requirements amidst shifting macroeconomic conditions in Egypt, the group has implemented targeted debt-settlement and restructuring agreements with local commercial banks, alongside monetization programs involving the structured sale of selected non-core commercial units and land plots. Furthermore, Remco has executed modernization and renovation initiatives across its operational Red Sea and Gulf of Suez hospitality portfolio, upgrading room inventory and resort amenities to capture increasing inbound leisure tourism demand, while introducing restructured financing and flexible installment plans to support sales velocity across its North Coast and suburban Cairo residential developments.
