Business
Elopak ASA is a Norway-based global supplier specializing in paper-based carton packaging solutions and filling equipment for liquid food products, including fresh and aseptic beverages, as well as non-food products. Its core product portfolio includes the Pure-Pak® cartons designed as a sustainable alternative to plastic bottles; D-PAK cartons for personal and home care applications; and a comprehensive range of filling machinery for aseptic, fresh, and non-food applications. The company also offers supplementary services such as standard flexo, super flexo, UV-flexo, and offset litho printing, digital and machine print proofs, technical services, after-market assistance including maintenance, upgrades, retrofits, optimization, and customer staff training. Founded in 1957 and headquartered in Oslo, Norway, Elopak operates in over 70 countries spanning Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia, and the Americas with manufacturing facilities in 12 locations. Recent strategic developments include the rollout of its "Repackaging Tomorrow" strategy which aims to grow the company organically by 4-6 percent annually and achieve a 15-17 percent adjusted EBITDA margin over the next 3-5 years, targeting EUR 2 billion revenues by 2030. Significant operational expansion is underway with the establishment of a new state-of-the-art production plant in Little Rock, Arkansas, which marked its first profitable quarter in late 2025 and plans to add further production lines to support growing demand in North America. Elopak has strengthened its market position through acquisitions such as Naturepak Beverage Packaging in the Middle East and North Africa, and through joint ventures to expand local production in India, the world's largest dairy market. The company is also advancing its portfolio in fiber-based packaging solutions and D-PAK cartons for home and personal care categories, aligning with global sustainability trends away from plastic packaging. Elopak emphasizes innovation and sustainability, leveraging renewable, recyclable, and sustainably sourced materials to support a circular, low carbon economy while maintaining focus on operational efficiency, market leadership in Europe and emerging markets, and a comprehensive full-service offering to its clients worldwide.
