Callaway Golf Company (NYSE: ELY), formerly Topgolf Callaway Brands Corp., designs, manufactures, markets and sells premium golf equipment worldwide, including clubs, balls, apparel, gear and accessories; core products encompass drivers such as Elyte X and Ai Smoke, fairway woods like Elyte, irons including Elyte X and HL, hybrids such as Elyte Max Fast, wedges, Odyssey putters, Chrome Soft and Supersoft golf balls, bags, gloves, shoes and performance apparel under brands including Callaway, Odyssey, TravisMathew and OGIO. The company operates in over 70 countries through golf retailers, sporting goods stores, mass merchants, online direct sales and pre-owned trade-in services; it targets golfers of all skill levels, from amateurs to professionals on major tours. Founded in 1982 and headquartered in Carlsbad, California, Callaway pioneered innovations like Big Bertha drivers and computer-controlled milling for clubs. In November 2025, the company agreed to sell a 60% majority stake in its Topgolf and Toptracer businesses to Leonard Green & Partners for approximately $1.1 billion enterprise value, expecting $770 million in net proceeds upon closing in Q1 2026; post-transaction, it will revert to the Callaway Golf Company name with ticker CALY, retaining its core golf equipment portfolio that generated about $2 billion in revenue over the prior 12 months through Q3 2025.
