The company offers pre-engineered, standardized Smart Products Solutions including Aspiral wastewater treatment systems; NIROBOX containerized units for seawater and brackish water desalination, ultrafiltration, multimedia filtration, reverse osmosis, and wastewater treatment; NIROFLEX systems for desalination and pretreatment; SUBRE membrane aerated biofilm reactor modules; Nitro nutrient removal systems; EcoBox water reuse systems; Tipton packaged wastewater treatment plants; aeration equipment such as aerators, mixers, and diffusers; and dissolved air flotation systems; along with food and beverage processing solutions, waste-to-energy technologies, project finance, Smart Operations data analytics software, operation and maintenance support, Build Own Operate models, build-operate-transfer arrangements, financing leases, and reuse-as-a-service offerings. Founded in 2007 and headquartered in Golden Valley, Minnesota, Fluence operates across North America, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, China, and other high-growth regions, serving communities, utilities, power plants, and industries with energy-efficient, modular technologies that reduce capital and operating expenses. Recent developments include securing a contract worth over US$12 million in October 2025 to supply Niroflex ultra-pure water treatment systems for a combined-cycle power plant in Saudi Arabia through partnership with Tecnicas Reunidas, S.A.; executive leadership changes effective December 2025 with Benjamin Fash succeeding Tom Pokorsky as CEO and Managing Director, Osvaldo Llanes joining as CFO, Anda Cao appointed as Vice President and General Manager for Southeast Asia and China, Rick Cisterna expanding to Chief Growth Officer overseeing global services and recurring revenue growth, and Spencer Smith taking on Chief Talent and Legal Officer responsibilities; and expansions such as Aspiral deployments in Yiyang City, China.
