Business
European Metals Holdings Limited (ASX/AIM: EMH) is an Australia-based mineral exploration and development company focused on advancing the Cinovec vertically integrated lithium and tin battery metals project in the Czech Republic; the project, Europe's largest hard rock lithium resource, targets production of battery-grade lithium hydroxide and chemicals for electric vehicle and energy storage markets, alongside tin recovery, through an integrated mine and processing plant with low carbon footprint leveraging renewable energy. Incorporated in 2011 and headquartered at 41 Colin Street, West Perth, Australia, the company operates primarily in Europe via Geomet s.r.o., a joint venture in which European Metals holds 49% and CEZ a.s. (through its subsidiary SDAS) holds 51%; Cinovec is strategically located 100 km northwest of Prague near the German border with excellent infrastructure access including roads and rail lines serving end-user automakers and gigafactories. Recent developments include securing an €11 million cash call in August 2025 by Geomet to complete the Definitive Feasibility Study (DFS), with the company's €5.39 million share funded via a A$3 million placement, Dukla land loan refinancing, and potential sales; refinancing of a Kč121 million loan to Geomet by CEZ while retaining buy-back rights; and obtaining a preliminary mining permit for Cinovec South in the second half of 2025, achieving full permitting coverage of the orebody alongside a January 2025 Concept Study update assessing expanded ROM production capacity ahead of DFS.
