ProShares Ultra Ether ETF (ETHT) is an exchange-traded fund that seeks daily investment results, before fees and expenses, that correspond to two times (2x) the daily performance of the Bloomberg Ethereum Index. The fund provides leveraged exposure to ether, the native cryptocurrency of the Ethereum blockchain, through swap agreements, futures contracts, and other financial instruments; it does not invest directly in ether or other digital assets. ETHT primarily serves sophisticated investors seeking amplified returns from ether price movements and operates within the broader cryptocurrency and leveraged ETF segments of the financial markets, targeting U.S. institutional and retail traders focused on digital assets. Launched in 2024 by ProShare Advisors LLC, headquartered in Bethesda, Maryland, the fund is part of ProShares' suite of leveraged and inverse ETFs and trades on major U.S. exchanges including NYSE Arca. In late 2025, ProShares expanded its crypto offerings with the launch of additional ether-related ETFs amid regulatory approvals for spot ether products, while navigating market volatility following President Trump's reelection and pro-crypto policy signals.
