Business
Cogra 48 S.A. (ALCOG.PA) manufactures and sells wood pellets for heating systems, including those certified DIN+ and packaged in bags for stoves or bulk for boilers; imports and distributes Harman brand pellet stoves featuring unique bottom-feed systems for autonomous ash removal; wholesales Froling boilers such as the P4 model; and provides consulting services encompassing technical advice, boiler room layout, project design and dimensioning, power and distribution studies, silo design studies, and guaranteed supply contracts. The company operates two production plants in France, located in Sévérac-le-Château (Aveyron) and Craponne-sur-Arzon (Haute-Loire), with a storage unit in Mende for stoves and boilers, and distributes products through a network of retailers primarily in France and select European countries. Founded in 1982 and headquartered in Mende, France, Cogra 48 focuses on the wood energy sector, targeting residential and commercial customers seeking sustainable heating solutions with an emphasis on quality production from wood waste fibers. In its fiscal year ended June 30, 2025, the company reported full-year revenue of approximately €35 million alongside a net loss, following a challenging first half of 2024/25 with a 30% revenue decline to €18.7 million due to market conditions, while maintaining operations across its core segments and anticipating recovery.
