Business
Amilot Capital Inc. is a Canada-based mineral exploration company focused on the acquisition, exploration, development and exploitation of gold properties in Colombia. The company holds contractual interests in the Ancal/Marmato Project in the Marmato/Caramanta district of the Caldas and Antioquia Departments, a prospective area with potential for porphyry-related gold-copper and epithermal precious metal deposits; and the Nortol Project, including the Papayo property with underground mining works known as the El Papayo mine, located in the northern Tolima Department and featuring an emerging gold belt with high-grade veins and limited historical exploration. Amilot continues to pursue opportunities for additional mining interests in prospective Colombian districts; it targets junior mining investors and operates primarily in South America through these Colombian assets. Founded in 1935 and headquartered at 1 First Canadian Place, Suite 1600, 100 King Street West in Toronto, Ontario, the company was formerly known as Tolima Gold Inc. and changed its name in January 2019. Recent changes include the amendment of its 18% secured debentures to extend the maturity date from December 31, 2023, to December 31, 2024; the resignation of director Peter Simeon; and a shares-for-debt transaction settling $77,500 of indebtedness through new share issuances.
