Business
DelfinGroup AS is a Latvia-based financial technology and consumer financial services company that provides inclusive non-bank lending and circular economy retail solutions across the Baltic region. Founded in 2009 and headquartered in Riga, Latvia, the company operates primarily through three core segments: Consumer Lending, Pawn Lending, and Circular Economy Retail, delivering its portfolio under the Banknote and VIZIA brand names. DelfinGroup provides a broad range of products and services, including unsecured personal consumer loans; credit line facilities and revolving credit limits; specialized loan products tailored for senior citizens; debt consolidation and loan refinancing services; point-of-sale (POS) financing and Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) merchant checkout solutions; real estate-secured credit facilities; short-term pawn loans secured by pledges of movable property such as precious metals, jewelry, consumer electronics, and tools; circular retail commerce involving the appraisal, procurement, and resale of verified pre-owned, refurbished, and new consumer goods through an extensive physical branch network and digital e-commerce channels; and consumer financial facilitation services, including international money transfers in partnership with Western Union and utility bill payment processing. The company serves individual consumers across Latvia and Lithuania through a hybrid model combining more than 90 physical retail branches with mobile and web-based financial platforms. In recent developments, DelfinGroup became a subsidiary of the financial group IPAS INDEXO following a takeover offer, aligning the business with a larger banking ecosystem to access lower-cost funding and capture operational synergies. Additionally, the company initiated international geographical expansion by establishing a branch network and circular retail operations in Lithuania, introduced real estate-collateralized consumer loan offerings, continuously enhanced its automated algorithmic credit scoring platforms, and executed multiple public corporate bond issuances on the Nasdaq Riga Baltic Main List to support the sustained expansion of its loan and retail portfolios.
