First Trust SMID Growth Strength ETF First Trust SMID Growth Strength ETF (FSGS) is an exchange-traded fund that seeks investment results corresponding generally to the price and yield, before fees and expenses, of The SMID Growth Strength Index; it invests at least 80% of its net assets in securities comprising the index, which targets well-capitalized small- and mid-cap U.S. companies exhibiting strong balance sheets, financial performance, and market positions across diversified sectors including financial services, industrials, technology, healthcare, and consumer cyclical; the fund holds approximately 100 securities with top holdings such as Comfort Systems USA, Inc., Harmony Biosciences Holdings, Inc., Rambus Inc., EMCOR Group, Inc., and HCI Group, Inc. Launched on June 20, 2017, and listed on Nasdaq, FSGS is domiciled in the United States with assets under management of approximately $29-30 million and a net expense ratio of 0.60%.
