Business
Farfetch Limited operates as a global online luxury fashion marketplace connecting consumers with over 1,300 brands, boutiques, and department stores worldwide; it offers apparel including bags, coats, dresses, jackets, jewelry, swimwear, trousers, shoes, knitwear, suits, shorts, watches, and accessories, alongside beauty products, sneakers, streetwear, and digital services such as Farfetch Platform Solutions for enterprise e-commerce technology, web design, development, digital marketing, production, and customer services for luxury brands and retailers. The company also runs direct-to-consumer stores including Browns, Stadium Goods, Violet Grey, Off-White, Palm Angels, Ambush, and other brand platforms via its marketplace and app. Founded in 2007 and headquartered in London, United Kingdom, Farfetch serves customers in over 190 countries from more than 50 countries, targeting luxury fashion enthusiasts with express delivery, free returns, and augmented retail innovations like Store of the Future. In January 2024, Coupang Inc. completed its acquisition of Farfetch's business and assets through Surpique LP for $500 million following a pre-pack administration process amid financial challenges, delisting the company from the NYSE under ticker FTCH (now trading OTC as FTCHF or FTCHQ) and enabling operational continuity with investments in technology and global expansion; recent activities include the Fall/Winter 2025 campaign launch featuring brands like Miu Miu, Valentino Garavani, Dolce&Gabbana, and Ferragamo, alongside Holiday Exclusives and Browns initiatives such as Parlour beauty retreat and The Cult of Winter experience in late 2025.
