Putnam ETF Trust—Franklin Minnesota Municipal Income ETF is an actively managed, U.S.-domiciled fixed-income exchange-traded fund that seeks to provide Minnesota residents with a high level of current income exempt from U.S. federal income tax and Minnesota personal income tax, consistent with preservation of capital. The fund, which traces its inception to October 23, 1989, invests principally in investment-grade municipal securities with intermediate- to long-term maturities, including Minnesota general-obligation bonds, revenue bonds and tender-option bonds; it may also invest in other qualifying tax-exempt securities issued by or for U.S. states, territories, political subdivisions, agencies, authorities and governmental entities. Under normal conditions, the fund invests at least 80% of net assets in tax-exempt investments, focuses on bonds rated at least BBB- or comparable quality, and may invest up to 25% of total assets in below-investment-grade securities. Its portfolio-management process considers credit, interest-rate, prepayment and broader market risks, and it uses the Bloomberg Municipal Bond Index as a benchmark. Shares trade on NYSE Arca under the ticker FTMN, with an annual expense ratio of 0.35%. The fund is managed by Franklin Advisers, Inc., with Putnam Investment Management, LLC and Franklin Templeton Investment Management Limited serving as sub-advisers, and is part of Franklin Templeton’s active municipal-bond ETF platform. Effective November 7, 2025, the former Putnam Minnesota Tax Exempt Income Fund reorganized into the Franklin Minnesota Municipal Income ETF; the conversion preserved substantially the same investment objective and strategies, and the ETF began trading as part of Franklin Templeton’s five-fund single-state municipal ETF expansion, alongside comparable offerings for Massachusetts, New Jersey, Ohio and Pennsylvania.
