- Future Fuels Inc. operates as a Canadian critical-mineral exploration company focused primarily on the acquisition, exploration and advancement of uranium mineral properties. The Company’s principal asset is its 100%-owned Hornby Basin Uranium Project, which covers approximately 3,407 square kilometres across the Hornby Basin in northwestern Nunavut, including more than 40 uranium showings and the historic Mountain Lake uranium system; exploration activities include geological mapping, geochemical sampling, airborne and ground geophysical surveys, gravity-survey interpretation, artificial-intelligence-assisted prospectivity modelling, target generation, permitting and planned drilling. Future Fuels also holds the 100%-owned Covette Property, comprising 65 mineral claims covering approximately 3,370 hectares in Quebec’s James Bay region. In May 2026, the Company expanded its uranium exploration portfolio through the acquisition of Hatchet Uranium Corp., which continues as wholly owned subsidiary Future Fuels Athabasca Inc.; the transaction added five uranium project areas—Hatchet Lake, Highway, CBX/Shoe, Usam and Genie—covering approximately 97,674 hectares in northern Saskatchewan, including wholly owned claims and option interests in and around the Athabasca Basin. The Company completed a C$2.0 million non-brokered flow-through financing in April 2026, with proceeds designated for qualifying critical-mineral exploration expenditures at the Hornby Basin Project. In June 2026, Future Fuels reported AI-assisted exploration targeting results generated using VRIFY Technology Inc.’s DORA platform, identifying the undrilled Lambda target near Mountain Lake and validating additional uranium targets across the Hornby property. Formerly known as Saville Resources Inc., Future Fuels Inc. adopted its current name in November 2024. The Company was founded in 1987 and is headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
