Pacific NoS Global EM Equity Active ETF (GEME) is an actively managed exchange-traded fund that seeks long-term capital appreciation through a concentrated portfolio of 20-50 large- and mid-cap emerging market equities and equity-related securities selected using a proprietary value-based "Cost of Capital" valuation framework. The fund invests across major emerging markets worldwide, including Taiwan, China, South Korea, United Arab Emirates, Greece, Poland, South Africa, Brazil, Indonesia and Mexico; top holdings include Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing, Alibaba Group Holding, MediaTek, Samsung Electronics and Emaar Properties. GEME employs a bottom-up fundamental research approach combined with top-down macroeconomic analysis and rigorous risk management to identify undervalued companies with established business models and predictable cash flows. Launched on January 23, 2025, and listed on NASDAQ, the ETF is issued and advised by Pacific Asset Management (Pacific AM), a London-based asset manager founded in 2016 that oversees over $12.3 billion in client assets and serves financial advisers, wealth managers, family offices and institutional investors globally. Pacific AM partners with North of South Capital, its emerging markets sub-advisor founded in 2004, which manages the fund using the same investment process as its Pacific NoS Global EM Equity Strategy launched in August 2024 with approximately $700 million in assets under management. The portfolio management team, led by Kamil Dimmich and Matt Linsey with a combined 64 years of industry experience and unchanged since 2009, emphasizes quality businesses trading at discounts to developed market peers. The ETF carries a net expense ratio of 0.75% and pays annual dividends; as of December 2025, it holds approximately 56 securities with total net assets around $68 million. In a recent milestone, Pacific AM launched GEME as its first actively managed ETF in the US market, leveraging the structure's transparency, tax efficiency and accessibility to bring institutional-quality emerging markets management to a broader investor base. No major acquisitions, additional funding rounds or strategic shifts have been reported since inception.
