Business
Entech SA (ALESE.PA) engages in the storage, conversion, and management of renewable energies in France and internationally. The France-based company, founded in 2016 and headquartered in Quimper, designs, manufactures, and commissions solutions including on-grid and off-grid energy storage systems for grid balancing, production smoothing, frequency regulation, electrification of isolated sites, fuel saving, and bill management; battery energy storage systems; microgrids; supervision and automation systems; photovoltaic power plants encompassing ground-mounted, rooftop, and shadehouse installations; production and storage solutions for green hydrogen; renewable marine energies such as tidal turbines; and prototyping systems involving complex conversion chains with new battery technologies and other innovations. Entech operates primarily in the utilities-renewable energy sector, serving industrial, utility, and remote site customers across France, French overseas territories, and international markets including French Guiana, Mali, Senegal, Haiti, and Scotland. In recent developments, the company completed a €15 million fundraising round through convertible bond issues in June 2025 to fuel expansion; acquired 159 MW of photovoltaic projects from TotalEnergies in September 2025 following a prior 100 MWp acquisition earlier in the year, bolstering its development pipeline toward a 350 MW fleet by 2029; formed a joint venture with Eiffage Énergie Systèmes for major energy storage projects; signed an initial shore connection contract for ships at berth; partnered with Genvia for high-temperature electrolysers, ENGIE Laborelec for a tidal energy storage pilot in Scotland, and the EVELIAXIA European research project for building energy transition; secured new €35 million banking facilities; commissioned a 3.3 MWh storage unit with Boralex in Quebec and progressed on multiple large-scale storage projects; opened a new technology center in Angers; and reported strong 2023-24 revenue growth of 32% to €45.5 million with full-year results released in 2025.
