Business
Groupe LDLC SA (ALLDL.PA), formerly LDLC.com SA, operates as a leading French multi-brand e-commerce retailer specializing in the online distribution of computer hardware, high-tech equipment, and related services to both individual consumers (BtoC) and professional clients (BtoB); its core offerings encompass desktop and laptop computers, components such as motherboards, graphics cards, and memory modules, peripherals including keyboards, mice, scanners, speakers, and webcams, network equipment, software licenses, portable devices like tablets and smartphones, multimedia products comprising hi-fi systems, video equipment, digital cameras, MP3 players, and DVDs, as well as custom-assembled PCs and childcare items through specialized brands; the company manages 15 retail brands and 8 merchant e-commerce websites, including ldlc.com, rue-du-commerce.fr (following recent integration), and others like topachat.com, alongside a growing network of directly operated and franchised physical stores in France. Founded in 1996 and headquartered in Limonest near Lyon, France, Groupe LDLC primarily generates revenues from merchandise sales (approximately 94.6%) and services (5.4%), with France accounting for about 89% of net sales and exports to neighboring countries including Belgium and Switzerland; it employs around 1,100 people and leverages integrated logistics platforms and award-winning customer service, recently scoring 19.80/20 to retain its title as Service Client de l'Année. In recent strategic developments, the group completed the €6 million acquisition of Rue du Commerce business assets on 10 July 2024, financed by bank loans and approved by the French Competition Authority, to bolster its BtoC positioning, accelerate customer base expansion, enhance general public brand awareness, and deploy an online marketplace model for improved profitability; this followed the signing of the agreement in April 2024 and contributed to H1 2024/2025 revenues of €243.7 million despite an 8.7% decline amid economic pressures; additionally, the company expanded its physical presence with a new LDLC store opening at La Madeleine in Paris in August 2025, reported accelerated growth of +11.1% in Q2 2025/2026 with BtoC up 16.2% and BtoB returning to growth, yielding semester revenues of €266.8 million (+9.5%), alongside equity investments in the LDLC Arena and ongoing store network reinforcement while maintaining a sound financial structure with net borrowings of €12.6 million and gearing of 13.4% as of 30 September 2024.
