Business
Arctic Falls AB is a Sweden-based automotive testing provider that specializes in cold-climate vehicle, tire, and component testing solutions. Founded in 1985 and headquartered in Älvsbyn, Sweden, the company operates dedicated indoor and outdoor proving ground facilities designed for automotive original equipment manufacturers, tire producers, and Tier-1 automotive component suppliers across Europe, Asia, and North America. Arctic Falls AB provides comprehensive winter testing infrastructure and support services, comprising indoor refrigerated test arenas offering year-round ice and snow surfaces; outdoor natural lake ice tracks; land-based handling, braking, and acceleration courses; snow and ice circular tracks; specialized gradient and hill tracks; and rough-road durability surfaces. In addition to physical track infrastructure, the company offers turnkey operational and technical support services, including private and secure customer garage rentals; dedicated mechanical workshops; high-capacity electric vehicle charging infrastructure; vehicle preparation and maintenance; precision track grooming and surface conditioning; and telemetry, data acquisition, and logistical support. In recent developments, Arctic Falls AB has expanded its indoor year-round testing capacity to meet growing global demand for continuous testing cycles independent of seasonal weather conditions. The company has also upgraded its proving ground infrastructure to support electric vehicle and battery system validation in extreme sub-zero environments, introducing high-power DC fast-charging networks, battery thermal performance testing capabilities, and advanced driver assistance systems calibration on low-friction surfaces, alongside integrating renewable energy solutions across its facilities.
