Q3 FY2026 · Earnings Call TranscriptOctober 22, 2026

Lisa Norlander

Hello everyone, good afternoon and welcome to our presentation of the Q3 report. Thank you so much for joining us this afternoon.

We are about to start, but before I present our panelists to you, I will say that we usually end these calls with a questionnaire session at the end of the call. If you have questions for us, you can write them here in the chat in the Zoom webinar, or you can email your questions to the email address [email protected], and we will pick them up at the end.

We'll start with our panelists. As usual, we are joined by our CEO, Niklas Agevik.

Welcome, Niklas.

Niklas Agevik

Thank you.

Lisa Norlander

We are also joined by Per Göransson, who is our CFO. Welcome, Per.

Per Göransson

Thank you.

Lisa Norlander

As usual, I'm your host, my name is Lisa. On the agenda today, we have a business update from Niklas, followed by some financial numbers from Per, and as I mentioned, we wrap this all up with a Q&A session.

With that said, Niklas, the floor is yours.

Niklas Agevik

Great. Thank you so much, Lisa.

As Lisa mentioned, I'll give a brief overview of the quarter, and then I will give a bit of a strategic update, where we are heading and what has happened in the last quarter and why we think that is taking us in the right direction. The quarter in summary, in Q3, we continue to grow and we've reduced our loss.

Net sales grew 9% to 44.4 million MSEK, that's 10% growth adjusted for currency. Recurring revenue grew 13% and is now 87% of net sales.

ARR in constant currencies grew 11% to 160.9 million SEK. EBITDA improved by 6 million SEK to -0.9 million SEK.

The reorganization that we announced earlier this year reached the cost effect that we wanted to get out of it, and we are now where we wanted to be with a much more efficient cost structure. In and just after the quarter, we added three new data partners in project software, and we started a pilot with a wholesale partner.

Per will go through the numbers in a bit more details, but I thought I'd give a strategy update and why we think these partners are important. Yeah.

As we said on previous calls, our vision is to be the source of truth for product data in the construction industry. We support manufacturers, they are our customers.

We take the product data, we adapt it to whatever format they need, and make sure that it's available in the right channels. It can end up at a contractor, a distributor, or a project planning software, as we've seen in this quarter, but the important thing for the manufacturer is that they don't have to deal with a very fragmented landscape with many different data requests that they have to respond to manually.

Instead, they can come to us, we take the data once, and we adapt it to whatever format is necessary. The ultimate goal for them is, of course, to get specified more, be part of more projects, and sell more of their products.

I do want to stress that this vision that we're talking about here, that's not something new. We already are very well-positioned here.

BIMobject.com is already a leading destination site for architects and engineers where they go in and find BIM content. Adding more data partners and continuing building on this is just continuing to doing what we already do, but do it better and faster.

The core value loop here, the reason why we believe it's so important to continue to add more partners is that this is really what powers our growth. When we get more partners, the platform becomes more valuable to more manufacturers.

There's a bigger reason for them to join because their data ends up in more projects. If we have more manufacturers and we have more data, more professionals and more companies and partners want to build upon our data.

When we get more partners, then of course we're back to the start where we are more attractive to more manufacturers. This is the core loop that we want to continue to build, and adding Plant, Nodon, and Varad in August, that continues to strengthen that loop.

I also want to give a quick update that we went live with new data-gathering capabilities as part of the new version of Prodikt, I think it was at the beginning of Q4, but still it is something that we have been investing in throughout the year, but now it's out, we're testing it with the first partner, which is fantastic to see. The capability that we've added now is that we allow a partner to upload a product list and request data about those products.

They don't have to fill in any specific template, we can work with the data that they already have, they can export it directly from their PIM system, and regardless of how messy their data is, we can take it and we can process it, and we can match it to the right product and the right manufacturers. The capabilities right now are focused on climate data, but we quickly want to move to more data types.

The other next step here is to allow manufacturers to join and provide their own data, we call that primary data. Thanks to the data-gathering capabilities that we have, we make this a very easy process for them.

When they come into the platform, we've already gathered a lot of their value. If they have an EPD, if they have an article number, whatever document that they have, we read it, we process it, and we make sure that in the best-case scenario, all of the data is already there and all they have to do is verify it.

This has been a big problem for manufacturers in the past. They are very used to old, difficult systems to use where they have to manually adjust everything.

What we hear from the market is that this is a great service that makes it very easy for them. The result here is that at the end, our partners, they go from having data that we have gathered to getting data directly from manufacturer, which is the end goal.

That's data that they can trace all the way back to the source, and the manufacturer publishes once and it reaches every partner. We're continuing to build upon this loop, adding more data capabilities and making this easier for manufacturers.

With that said, I want to hand over to Per to give an update on the financials.

Per Göransson

Thank you, Niklas. I'll take you through the numbers in a bit more detail.

For the third quarter, total net sales were 44.4 million, up 9% from 40.7 a year ago, and 10% adjusted for currency. The growth comes from recurring revenue that grew 13% to 38.7 million, or 14% in constant currency.

ARR in constant currency reached 160.9 million, that's 11% up year-over-year, and behind that we see higher average revenue per contract and lower churn in EMEA, and then there's also a good contribution and trend from wholesalers in data solutions. The total platform business stands for 89% of revenue in the quarter.

Services was 5.0 million compared with 6.1 last year, but up from 4.5 in the second quarter. On the cost side, operating costs were 47.3 million, and that is down 7% from 51.0 a year ago.

Other external costs fell from 18.3 to 14.7 million, and mainly because we use fewer external consultants. Personnel costs were flat at 32.7 million, even though we were 13 fewer, 13% fewer employees at the end of September compared to a year ago.

Several things offset the lower headcount, besides general salary inflation, it also relates to timing of new employees, such as the acquisition of GreenMetrica in August '25, and being only part of the quarter in previous year, and we also had a greater vacation effect in 2025. Higher sales commissions in Q3 this year is also a component.

Still, compared with earlier quarters this year, personnel costs are clearly lower, and that's partly the reorganization made in Q2, which has reached planned cost effect this quarter, and partly it is the summer vacation effect quarter-over-quarter. Higher revenue and lower costs together lifted EBITDA by 6 million to -0.9 million compared with -6.9 million a year ago.

We also did that with less capitalized development work than last year. Also worth noting that operating cash flow improved in line with this by 7.6 million compared with the same quarter last year.

EBIT in the quarter was -4.8 million compared with -10.2, and depreciation and amortization increased somewhat, mainly due to acquisitions in August '25. With that, back to you, Niklas.

Niklas Agevik

All right, thank you, Per. To sum up this quarter then, we're growing with a smaller loss, we're continuing to build towards our strategic direction, we're building a stronger and stronger position there, we have the new capability out to the market, I think it's just continuing on the journey we are on, doing that faster and doing it better, adding more partners, getting more products in, and bringing more manufacturers.

With that, I hand over to Lisa if there were any questions.

Lisa Norlander

Yes, now we come to our favorite part. We do enjoy answering these questions from you on the call.

I've kept my eye on our ir@bimobject inbox, and we have a couple of questions to answer there, and then I see that some of you have used the chat here in Zoom, which is very nice. Let's start with the first one.

This one relates to revenue growth in ARR in the business area that we refer to as Data Solutions. The question is if this growth in ARR primarily comes from existing products and customers, or if we're already seeing contribution to ARR from the new platform and the new data partners that we communicated, such as for example Plant.

Niklas Agevik

In Q3, that growth in Data Solutions came from existing relationships with wholesalers.

Lisa Norlander

Nice. All right, second question here.

How does the timeline look to go from this pilot phase to a more broad commercial rollout during 2026 or 2027? When do we expect that the new platform will be a significant driver for ARR growth?

Niklas Agevik

I can't comment on a specific timeline, but I can say that our focus right now is that we continue building in Prodikt and also integrating it with bimobject.com, making sure that it powers our own internal data needs. Of course, we doing this because we believe it will strengthen our offer to manufacturers, and that will of course translate into more sales.

I can't go into any details on the timeline for this.

Lisa Norlander

Nice. Thank you, Niklas.

Then I'll toggle here to see the question that we got in the chat. The question here is, how does management view BIMobject's long-term equity story and the potential of becoming a more data-driven platform?

Which KPIs should investors focus on? Can we expect clearer long-term targets for ARR growth, Data Solutions, recurring revenues, and profitability?

Niklas Agevik

Yeah. No, I can speak for the whole management team when I say that we want to be more data-driven.

I think we do want to be a data platform, that is what we are investing and going towards. We do want to be more product-led.

Right now, we are not sharing any specific KPIs related to that on the number of products that we have in the platform or the number of data requests going out. That is definitely something we are looking at and something we potentially could do in the future.

I think that's all I can say for now. I can't give any more forecasts than that, but I think we are very committed here to being this central data repository for the construction industry and working more and more towards manufacturers.

Lisa Norlander

Thank you. That is the questions we received from you in the audience here during the call.

Reminder that we are available to you at this [email protected], also between these webinars. With that said, we will wrap up for the day.

Once again, thank you for joining us. You will hear next from us in our Q4 end of year presentation then, early next year.
