Business
Izoblok SA (IZB.WA), formerly Izo-Blok SA, manufactures and sells expanded polypropylene (EPP) components primarily for the automotive industry; its core products include EPP fittings such as bumpers, headrests, child seats, dashboards, armrests, interior fillings, seats, casings for pump groups, covers for heating cables, casings of heaters, and air curtains, as well as reusable packaging solutions like pallets and transport containers for automotive parts including mirrors, brake calipers, steering gears, radiators, headlights, transmissions, and windows, with electrostatic dischargeable options for sensitive electronics; the company also provides comprehensive services encompassing product and tool development, design, prototyping, moulding, and CNC machining. Founded in 1998 and headquartered in Chorzow, Poland, Izoblok operates four production facilities—three in Poland and one in Germany—with a total area exceeding 40,000 square meters, producing over 30 million EPP products annually; it serves leading international OEM and Tier 1 automotive brands such as Jaguar Land Rover, Ford, Volkswagen, Audi, Skoda, Kia, Hyundai, and LG Display, alongside logistics, HVAC, construction, sports gear, household appliances, and electronics sectors worldwide. A subsidiary of Norwegian BEWI ASA since July 2021, the company maintains quality certifications including IATF 16949:2016, ISO 9001:2015, and ISO 14001:2015, holding preferred supplier status with key clients; it employs over 500 people and focuses on innovation through R&D projects funded by EU programs. In recent developments, Izoblok concluded a strategic partnership agreement on February 28, 2025, with Singapore-based Armstrong Industrial Corporation Limited to explore EPP production opportunities in European and Asian markets, implement global projects, and exchange knowledge; the company reported consolidated operating income of PLN 252.3 million for fiscal 2024, with net profit of PLN 13.9 million amid industry challenges, and continues launching serial production of new global projects while improving operational efficiency at its German subsidiary.
