- Granules India Limited, a vertically integrated pharmaceutical manufacturing company headquartered in Hyderabad, India, and founded in 1984, manufactures and markets active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), pharmaceutical formulation intermediates (PFIs), and finished dosages (FDs) including tablets, caplets, press-fit capsules in bulk, blister packs and bottles; it specializes in large-volume off-patent drugs such as paracetamol, ibuprofen, metformin, guaifenesin, methocarbamol, and has expanded into oncology therapeutics, high potent APIs, peptide-based APIs including GLP-1 receptor agonists for anti-diabetic and anti-obesity treatments, multiple unit pellet systems (MUPS), and modified/delayed release technologies.
