- Guardian Exploration Inc. is a Canadian resource exploration company engaged in the acquisition, exploration and development of precious-metal, base-metal and critical-mineral properties in North American mining jurisdictions. The Company’s principal activities comprise geological mapping, prospecting, surface geochemical sampling, trenching, geophysical surveys, historic-data compilation, target generation, permitting and diamond-drilling programs directed toward gold, silver, zinc, lead, copper and associated mineralization. Guardian operates a portfolio spanning Nunavut and Yukon, Canada, and Southeast Alaska, United States, with primary assets including the Sundog Gold Project and the Esker Gold Project in Nunavut’s Kivalliq Region; the Mount Cameron silver-zinc-lead project in the Mayo Mining District of central Yukon; and the Kaigani Gold Project on Dall Island in Southeast Alaska. Its target customers and stakeholders include mining-industry partners, investors and potential acquirers seeking exposure to early-stage and drill-ready mineral exploration opportunities.
The Sundog Gold Project is a gold-focused exploration property acquired in 2025 in the Kivalliq Region, where Guardian conducts mapping, prospecting and surface-sampling programs over prospective greenstone-belt terrain. The Esker Gold Project comprises a 100%-owned, royalty-free claim package of approximately 16,282 hectares staked in 2025 near South Henik Lake, encompassing the historical Esker and River gold occurrences; activities include integrating historical drill, geochemical and geographic-information-system data to refine drill targets. The Mount Cameron Project is a 100%-owned polymetallic property acquired in 2021, prospective for carbonate-replacement, Mississippi Valley-type and vein-related silver-lead-zinc mineralization; the Company is advancing historical occurrences through fieldwork, geophysics and drill-target definition. The Kaigani Gold Project, acquired in 2022, comprises mineral claims on southern Dall Island and is prospective for gold-silver mineralization, with follow-up work including trenching, sampling, mapping and structural-target evaluation.
Recent strategic developments include the completion of the Sundog Gold Project acquisition in May 2025; the staking of the Esker Gold Project claims and acquisition of related exploration data in August 2025; and the completion of 2025 fieldwork at Sundog, which reported preliminary high-grade gold assay results. In 2026, Guardian received a Class 3 exploration permit for Mount Cameron, formed and expanded an advisory board with appointments intended to strengthen leadership, Northern infrastructure and project-development expertise, and proposed a $2.5 million flow-through financing to advance its Nunavut and Yukon gold projects. The Company also secured dedicated Hydracore HC5000 diamond-drill capacity and associated support equipment for its 2026 programs, initially for the fully permitted Mount Cameron property and subsequently, subject to permits and approvals, for the Sundog project; it began mobilizing crews for the 2026 Mount Cameron exploration campaign in July 2026.
